We have some tips for you to grow some salad greens so you can have the freshest salads all year around.
It is important to make sure you have an area closer to the house that is more protected from the cold. All you need is a bag of soil, a plastic tub, water and the greens of your choice.
When harvesting your greens don’t take all the leaves from one plant at the same time, this will make it harder for them to grow back. Pick some leaves from each plant so that no plant is ever bare at one time.
This will help to ensure you have leaves to pick throughout the season.
Check out the video below for all the specifics on how to grow your greens in the colder months.
